3/8” – 1-ton Screw Pin Anchor Shackle is one of the best ways to tow or recover light-duty and medium-duty are perfect for applications such as vehicles, ATV’s, UTV’s, industrial equipment, and Farm Equipment to name a few. Our Shackles are made with galvanized steel and can also be known around the towing and recovery industry as Anchor Pin Shackles for short.

For safety, it is common to “mouse” a threaded shackle to keep the pin from coming loose. This is done by looping mousing wire or a nylon zip tie through the hole in the pin and around the body. One disadvantage of wire is that mousing can introduce corrosion because of material differences.
